Fran and her husband were amazing hosts and couldn’t do more for us, our only issue was the hottub wasn’t very clean and the noise from frans animals was constant, we had our dogs with us and the constant barking from frans beautiful dogs wouldn’t have been so bad but it made our dogs bark back which wasn’t the relaxing weekend we had hoped for. Also the main door to the cabin didn’t lock so my partner stayed awake all night as we didn’t want to disturb fran at midnight when we noticed. We left after one night but paid for two so was rather disappointing. Couldn’t fault the hosts tho they were both lovely

Fran & Bill were very helpful and friendly hosts, made us feel very well looked after! Would definitely recommend for those with dogs as the enclosed patio was really handy, there's a nice walk by the loch, and the accomodation was very well prepared for a doggy guest. My partner and I had a lovely two nights.

What a fabulous place. If you’re after a quiet, private bolt hole with beautiful walks within easy reach that is truly dog welcome (not just friendly) then this is for you. Compact but fabulously appointed with a hot tub to die for, we couldn’t have asked for more. Owners Bill and Fran couldn’t have been friendlier (even letting us meet the “family” of wolfhounds and parrots on our leaving day). Highly recommend 💜

We had a great time at Bumble's Barn - it is a peaceful location and Fran and Bill are two of the most friendly and warm hosts. They take pet-friendly to another level! Our little Maltipoo was catered for in every way - a bed, towels, poo bags, you name it! It was such a relief to be in a home where he was also made to feel at home (rare!). There's everything you need for the humans as well - fully equipped kitchen, netflix, cozy hoodies, and some numbers for takeaway orders. We had a blast enjoying the hot tub, meeting the animals and chatting with our hosts. We used the bus to get there from Falkirk - though if you are planning to get out and about it's probably best to have your own car. We mainly stayed in and enjoyed the short walk around Black Loch just behind the house. That being said, Fran and Bill were very helpful and offered to drive us between the station and their place! We would love to visit again, thank you Fran and Bill :)
