This property is large though only four rooms are operational. It is not very well kept, but you can see glimpses of the old charm in the frescoes and the architecture of the place. The support team at the property is helpful. A word of caution for the would be clients. Please be aware that the host overcharges on Airbnb vis-a-vis another popular booking site. So please compare rates beforehand or else you end up paying double. Here are the host's lame excuses for overcharging on Airbnb: Excuse 1: He booked us the "whole" property. The property is big, but there are only four operational rooms. There were 8 of us. So we took those four rooms. He did not do us any favours. Excuse 2: He claimed he blocked the property for us 24 hours in advance. Nonsense. This property does not have too many bookings. Excuse 3: Breakfast was included, this would cost non-Airbnb customers INR 500/head. Our breakfast on day 1 was toast and poha. On day 2 it was plain paratha with butter. The Indians reading this would know this does not cost INR 500/head. And that too in a small town like Nawalgarh. Excuse 4: He would "create an experience" for Airbnb customers! Load of rubbish! The only experience was a small bonfire on day 1. Nothing else! So book at your own risk!

We were looking for local history, local hospitality and faded grandeur and it was a feast to behold - we were thoroughly spoilt - everything we wanted plus more - the guys hospitality was welcoming and we got to explore the Parasrampuria Heritage Haveli unattended what was much fun for 7yr old girl and partner - the food was great, the bonfire added to the drama and the housekeepers were very helpful - don’t hesitate if you like an authentic Rajasthani experience

This place is magnificent.. Awesome experience of the royal way of life.. One of the most beautiful havelis I have ever seen and so beautifully envisaged. Great hospitality. Akshath catered to every need. Extremely need and clean.. Oh and the bedding - so luxurious and cosy. The collection of comics, novels and dvds were thoughtfully provided for the quiet nights in the common sitting room. We had a lovely bornfire organised for us and the food on request was yummy. Had a great time. Thanks Akshath. Will definitely visit again. :)

Expect tremendous hospitality. The staff was mildly offended when I walked out to purchase some toiletries." sir, why are you doing this? Tell us, that is what we are here for". This does make up for the lack of a kitchen and general shortage of footfall.
