We had a great time on our trip, and Misty was a great host. The place had everything we needed and a great view! We loved being able to use Misty's bikes to bike Schoodic peninsula and her kayaks to use out on the water. We were also within a reasonable distance to Acadia without being in the busy downtown. Misty was very thoughtful and helpful the entire time. She was even willing to check on our dogs while we were out and about for a day trip! Overall, a great stay and great trip!

Misty and her place were both amazing! the location is great for relaxing and being in the nature without the hustle and bustle of Acadia! she has the best recommendations, is quick to respond, and so kind. we loved Annie even though our dog likes his space, Annie was so sweet and respectful

Can’t wait to come back! We loved the incredible view of the water, kayaking, comfy bed and seclusion. Definitely a much needed respite after hiking and traveling around Acadia all day. We especially loved all the small touches. Thank you Misty for a great visit!!

Misty’s place offers an amazing private stay on the shores of Flander’s Bay with plenty of outdoor activities including kayaking, hiking, and biking. Misty is a wonderful hostess and provided extensive recommendations for local towns, restaurants, and things to do in Acadia. There are some small shops and restaurants within 5 minutes but mostly you have the large town of Ellsworth just over 20 minutes away, Winter Harbor is charming and is 15 minutes away, and the main part of Acadia and Bar Harbor are just under an hour drive. The bed and linens were very comfortable and the studio had just enough space to sleep comfortably and enjoy coffee or a small meal while looking over the deck into the calm waters of the Bay. There is a small shower inside but we really enjoyed the outdoor shower - it was spacious with great pressure and offered a unique private experience!! Last thing - we loved playing with her dog Annie! We would definitely return.

A beautiful Maine stay & lovely hostess. We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings, interaction with nature & easy access to Acadia National Park. Misty was the best! Annie, her golden retriever, was so sweet & playful & was great with our dog. The apartment & small & cozy & suited our needs. We loved the outdoor shower!
