Wow! This home has everything you need for Commissioning Week for the Naval Academy or just an escape to the delightful city of Annapolis. Just a few minutes drive (or Uber--we did both!) from either on, the house sits at the end of a lovely wooded neighborhood so we didn't feel like we were intruding too much on neighbors and had plenty of room for parking. Our hosts were incredibly thoughtful and kept in contact with us throughtout the year to see if we needed any help planning events or places to go while we were here. They thought of small details like extra shampoo, soap, toilet paper and towels with easy access to their laundry room and linen closet for our stay of five days. Their stunning home is both architecturally beautiful and living comfortable. Each bedroom has plenty of room for guests, and the basement was the perfect spot for a few extra air mattresses. We felt so at home and were able to host a party as well as just enjoy time with family. The back deck and separate patio are just amazing and allowed us to spend time outside with family and friends without ever feeling crowded. Their home had all the amenities (fantastic grill, two fridges, a wine fridge, outdoor firepit, corn hole, etc.) which enhanced every day of our stay as well as our party--a true home away from home. Many thanks to our fantastic hosts, Jeannie and Michael who shared their lovely home with us. We are convinced we could not have found a better place to sleep our large family and still be so close to USNA/Annapolis. This house is a true gem!
