Talk about the most hospitable stay in all of Suzaka. Marinas whole team continue to surprise us with insights and recommendations on what to do and where to go. They even found us coupons and discounts to many activities. Kudos to Marina and her team.

The super warm and welcoming staff made us a delicious dinner when we arrived late the first night, helped us navigate our way around the local sights, and generally really went out of their way to help us enjoy our stay. We loved the traditional Japanese house - it had so much character, and looked fantastic in the snow! We stayed with two small children, and the staff were very accommodating, as well as helping them to feel at home. It was such a great experience - we’ve love to go back there again!

Our stay at Kura Guest House was a highlight of our trip. The staff are so friendly and helpful and there is lots to do close by. I would definitely recommend it to anyone!

Nice place to stay! Authentic Japanese style way to live. Don't forget that authentic in Japan means to live quietly and the winter season could change your habits. Thanks to the lovely woman who prepared every day our hot water bottle to but in the futon, and turn the heater on before enter the room. Josselin
