Beautiful location on a pristine lake with the mountains in the background. A wonderful escape and excellent base for hiking in the Drakensberg Mountains. Heated beds made the stay even more comfortable on chilly nights! Will definitely be back.

Location was absolutely picturesque and beautiful. Host was very helpful and communication was great. Hiking trails really great. Best scenery I've seen in SA. Accommodation was average, bathroom could do with an upgrade and needs decent towels. Boathouse was disappointing with broken boats and life jackets but otherwise we really enjoyed our stay!

What an amazing place, great hospitality, great views ( bring your 4x4 and drive up the mountain) oh and beautiful rooms. Looking forward to visiting again soon with family and friends this time.

Exceeded all expectations! Friendly host and receptionist. Horse riding instructor was very attentive to our questions. Massages done at our room was just brilliant! Location and views are breathtaking as well as waking up to wildlife outside our cottage was such a treat! Best experience ❤️
