Von der in sich abgeschlossenen privaten Schlossanlage, die direkt am Meer über den Steilklippen liegt kann man nur begeistert sein. Traumhaft schön! Wir hatten das Gefühl, in eine andere Welt einzutauchen, sobald sich das Eingangsportal hinter uns schloss. Die grossen Parkanlagen mit sehr sauberem Pool und Sitzmöglichkeiten kann man jederzeit nutzen. In der gepflegten Anlage gibt es einen Aufzug zum privaten Meereszugang, den wir leider im April noch nicht nutzen konnten (schade, aber zum Baden wäre es auch zu kalt gewesen). Die Wohnung über 2 Etagen hat eine schöne Terrasse mit Blick zum Pool, Meer, Iskia und Vesuv (!) und ist modern eingerichtet. Wir haben uns wirklich sehr wohlgefühlt. Die tolle Gastgeberin Mariarosaria hat uns mit Infos und Tipps sehr weitergeholfen. Vielen Dank dafür!! (Il Barrio 👍). Der Ort hat die perfekte Lage, um sowohl Richtung Neapel hoch als auch zur Amalfitana runter und die vorgelagerten Inseln zu erkunden. Geschäfte, Restaurants, Bars etc. , alles da.

We loved sitting out on the terrace and enjoying the breathtaking view. Next time we'll visit when it's warmer so we can swim in the gorgeous pool and visit one of the local beach clubs. Mary provided some great local restaurant recommendations - Il Barrio Osteria was our favorite, and it's just around the corner. Having a washing machine was very helpful. Something to keep in mind - there was a wedding on the property one night out of the five we were there, and the music was pretty loud. It seemed like there was a midnight cutoff. I'm not sure how frequent weddings are but I'm sure Mary could provide more information if you're worried about the noise. All in all, a great stay made possible by a very thoughtful host!

Mariarosaria’s home was so beautiful! You feel like you’re stepping back in time as you enter the castle but with the benefit of modern renovations in the apartment. Super comfy bed as well! We loved how personal Mariarosaria is- she recommended so many great places nearby and answered us quickly if we ever had questions! Thank you for your hospitality :)

We can't put into words how amazing it was to be in Vico Equense at Mariarosaria's place. From the beginning of my correspondence with her asking questions about the area, her accommodations, travel to other areas, restaurants, etc. she was extremely responsive and helpful. I had a lot of questions and she would get back to me very quickly. The terrace was our favorite place to be. From having coffee in the morning to unwinding in the evening was so special. What a lovely area, peaceful and private! We experienced a wedding during our stay which was fun to see all the activity going on below us. I don't think photos do justice to how beautiful this place is. We will be recommending it to others and we're hoping to go back some day. Thank you Mariarosaria for blessing us with your beautiful place in Vico!
