We had a wonderful experience with Philip and the team. Philip was very proactive with communication. The caretakers guided us to the location. Even though the approach road is bit steep for the last 30 metres or so, it is paved, so no problem climbing it. After checking in Philip gave a walkthrough of the property, it's history and closeness to the Mullaperiyar Dam. The river bank is also only a small walk away . The closeness of this place to Satram mountains is also another thing to mention. Talking about the rooms and bathrooms, they were very clean and tidy. The house itself is very old and gives an ancient feel. The food was also very tasty. The caretakers were very helpful. We had absolute privacy during our stay and would highly recommend this place for a day's stay among misty mountains.

A nice compact 2 bedded home with a great view of plantation & a water stream, in a calm location. Kitchen was fully equipped, had ample parking space, TV with steaming apps, WiFi & seating in the verandah along with the hammock gives added advantage to this place. They do have a club area with dart board, snooker table & many books which are rarely seen in other properties. Staffs & caretaker was very helpful. They also provide homemade food as well. Host was very friendly & was just a phone call away whenever needed. Last 100m to this property needs careful driving, but don’t worry, they have skilful driver, 24/7, who can assist in dropping you/ your vehicle close to the property.

Had a nice stay. Excellent property and Phillip was a great host. Loud music/loudspeakers from the surrounding areas are a bit of a let down but the property owner cannot really do much about it.

We had the most enchanting getaway at this hilltop property nestled amidst a lush tea plantation. From the moment we arrived, was captivated by the natural beauty that surrounded us. The view of the Periyar river from the property is simply breathtaking, as if it was painted by an artist's brushstroke. The hosts truly went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable. The attention to detail in the design and decor of the house is remarkable. Waking up each morning to the mist rolling over the tea fields and the sun casting a golden hue across the river was a surreal experience. I spent hours just sitting on the veranda, immersing myself in the tranquil ambiance. It's as if time slows down in this idyllic haven. I can't recommend this property enough. My stay here was a journey of tranquility, and unforgettable memories. I'm already counting down the days until I can return to this tea-top haven and bask in its unmatched beauty once again.

Morleys place when we checked in smelt as if the space was not used for sometime which their caretaker Ganesan confirmed. cockroaches, small lizards and ants were there. We had stayed in several forest places and used to it so we ignored. Next day night when we were about to sleep we saw colony of big ants behind our bedroom door and we were shocked. We have never seen anything like this. We called Ganesan, manager who did not pick up and hence we messaged Philip and his wife and also did call to get their attention. no response. after an hour Ganesan called and told us to adjust and he will see the next day morning. Me and my wife did not sleep the entire night. next day eve we were shifted to 2 rooms which were very small. Philip wife gave my wife lunch complimentary amounting to 150 for the ordeal we went through the whole stay. for 55,550 we paid got 150 lunch complimentary. Philip seemed to me a thorough gentleman saying sorry several times. Nevertheless we had a lousy holiday
