This is a public area open for outdoor recreation hiking, nature & bird watching, hunting, skiing, snow shoeing and just for enjoyment. Located just minutes from the house are thousands of acres of public land with the Wisconsin River running through. Guests could enjoy hiking, biking, hunting, berry picking, or mushroom hunting. Guests could take a day trip to canoe or to kayak down the Wisconsin River. Fishing the many back waters and small lakes along the river, boat fishing the river, or fishing the many small rivers and trout streams around the area. Rock climbing on the Castle Rock is a thrill offering great climbing and beautiful views. A bolder field surrounds the rock, fun for hiking and relaxing. There are thousands of miles of crooked back roads, large bluffs, deep winding valleys, scenic ridge tops and the Kickapoo River cuts threw the heart of the range from north to south with small communities dotting it banks.
