Our area boasts a pristine environment that offers lake, river and mountain family fun for all seasons with outdoor activities that include boating, biking, swimming, hiking, skiing, snowmobiling, fishing and hunting. You are welcome to roam around our ranch and the surrounding forest. Beautiful mountain home on working elk ranch in the amazing Northwest. You are surrounded by big blue skies, endless pines, and beautiful mountain views. Located 20 miles east of Coeur d'Alene and 20 miles west of Kellogg, Idaho in the Idaho panhandle. Close to numerous biking trails, lakes, rivers, and skiing/snowboarding at Silver Mountain Resort, Lookout Pass, or Switzer Ski Resort. Very secluded two-story lodge-like home on 80-acre elk ranch. You have access to the full downstairs of the home with two bedrooms, full bath, family room with big screen TV, dining table and chairs, and kitchenette. Downstairs has its own private entrance. The Kitchenette is complete with: * Dishes, glassware, silverware, pots and pans, mixing bowls * Small refrigerator * Keurig coffee maker * Microwave * Crock pot * Rice cooker * Griddle * Toaster * George Foreman grill * Toaster/convection oven. * Electric double buffet burner Please note: the kitchenette does not have a stove or dish washer. There is a cabinet full of games, cards, etc. for fun relaxing times together. Outside the slider is a covered patio complete with table and chairs, propane BBQ and BBQ utensils. A large firepit with camp chairs is available for your use; firewood is included! And plenty of roasting sticks for those delicious S'mores! Just down the hill from the firepit you will find a 15 ft. trampoline (with netting) for the young and the spry! How about a game of Corn Hole? Boards and bean bags located across from the trampoline. (Bags are inside tin) Children are very welcome at our home! We have a pack-n-play available for infants/toddlers. Please let us know ahead of time if you will need it. Also, there is a curtained toy area complete with toys and books for toddlers. Outside there are also two baskets with outdoor games and toys. Free Wi-Fi. Please refrain from smoking in our home. And thank you for not bringing any pets with you. If you are interested, we are happy to give our guests a mini tour of our elk ranch; just give us an hour or two notice! However, we do ask that all visitors stay out of the elk pens at all times. They are still wild animals! There are many trails right out our back door for four-wheeling, X-country skiing or snowshoeing. Bring your gear, we'll show you the trails! You are welcome to bring your 4x4. There are many four-wheeling trails accessible either from our ranch or a short drive away. A trailhead to the Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes bike trail is located about three miles from our ranch. This is a beautiful bike trail stretching more than 70 miles from Mullan, ID to Plummer, ID.
