This was a perfect place for a solo getaway to recharge. If you enjoy nature and need a base camp for your adventures - hiking, relaxing huge fire pit, amazing hammock swing and the sound of cicadas- this is your go to spot . It was a perfect place to unwind. The the cabin was perfect, primitive, rustic and offered plenty of room to explore the mountains. The elevation brought a cool breeze that takes your breath away. It was great to be in the backwoods with all that nature provides. I will be back for a trip with my adventurous grandkids that love the outdoors. If you’re scared of the dark and woods - get a hotel. But this is what I love about my mountains. Haley was kind and accommodating.

Amazing place for a peaceful getaway with awesome views, great hikes, closed the Blue Ridge parkway which is a most due drive. Great host and beautiful place.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The hammock and the fire pit were pure joy and the rustic off the grid experience was a massive but very welcomed change from being so plugged in all the time. The outdoor shower was a really fun experience. I didn’t like the idea of the outhouse for a bathroom, but it was actually really nice and roomy. It was all closed in, very clean, and has an awesome view. The whole property was so beautiful and peaceful. And it has all kinds of thoughtful amenities like an acoustic guitar, board games, and playing cards. You can tell they really put a lot of effort into this place. So happy we were able to bring out fur babies with us, they had such a great time too! The hosts had great local recommendations. We went on seven different hikes nearby, including several great waterfalls and swimming holes. We ate at four different local restaurants, very unique and not a single chain/franchise! We highly recommend this mountain cabin experience!!!

Enjoyed a very nice anniversary trip at this cabin. It was peaceful and out of the way, but was close enough to Asheville that it made it easy to explore downtown. The views were spectacular and we even saw a bear! The inside of the cabin was beautiful especially with all the windows. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Definitely a place to get away. Think “camping” but in a cabin. No big luxuries, but enough to give you what you need. Beautiful view.
