this was an amazing Air bnb, Savvas was so attentive and gave us all the details we needed, he even arranged our taxi from and to the airport. He also let us have a late check-in out as our flight was later in the evening. The pool at the villa is ideal for children as its shaded away from the strong midday sun, the villa itself has everything you need, and it beautifully Greek. When in Greece again we will definitely be back!!

This has been one of our most relaxing AirBnB stays - the initial booking process was great, with our friendly host Savvas providing swift replies to the questions we had, and also arranging for a driver to meet us at the airport. The villa itself is a delight - it is has a substantial outside patio area decorated with flowers, and an orange grove and pool the other side of a small gated wall. The villa is situated away from the main street through Ixia so it's quiet at all times of the day. Inside there is plenty of space, comfortable furnishings, and a spacious shower room. In the surrounding area, the beach is a few minutes walk from the villa, and there are several bars and restaurants also within a similar radius - recommendation for the Sirtaki restaurant, which does great Greek food at very reasonable prices. We'll be staying at Villa Amelie again should we ever return to Rhodes!

We had a wonderful week's stay at Villa Amelie. Savvas is a great host who communicates very clearly and quickly. Savvas was also so kind to allow us to check out at 5pm as our flight home was in the evening. We didn't have a car so he also took us to the supermarket upon arrival to take home the heavy goods such as cases of water. The villa is beautifully renovated and it has a fascinating history which dates back to an Italian General who built in 1912. The location is perfect, it's about 200m from the Main Street which has lots of restaurants (we can recommend Le Gourmet which is down a side street) and there's plenty of shops and a really good big supermarket which is about 600m away and only about a 5 minute walk. The beach is also just off this Main Street and again only a 5-10 minute walk from the house. The airport is only a 15 minute drive away for €20 and Rhodes Old Town is also only 10 minutes away by car and well worth a visit. The pool was perfect for our kids as it's only 1.35m at the deep end. The garden is filled with beautiful orange trees (sadly not quite ready to pick in August though!) TV has Netflix so you can log into your own account and the wifi was good. Rooms have good air con and Savvas provided a baby cot for our 1 year old. We stay at many Airbnb's every year and this is the first time that we would come back to stay at the same place. The location is perfect and the house has everything we need. It was also 32c and sunny every single day. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer. Yammas Savvas!

Cette villa a tout, que ce soit le charme grec (maison traditionnelle, jardin fleuri, piscine) ou les équipements de la maison (rien ne manque). Propre et très bien située, vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés.
