The most amazing setting - quiet, beautiful, luxurious. The house itself is extremely well equipped and the beds and sofas are so comfortable. The location is perfect for exploring this area of the Loire. Very easy to get to Tours. So many chateaus within striking distance. We had a wonderful time and although planned on eating out lots, we ended up eating in and using the bbq as the setting was so beautiful it seemed a shame to spend any more time away from it. Fabulous.

Spectacular property, beautifully furnished, spacious (huge, in fact!) stylishly decorated, well appointed, in the most glorious grounds. Wonderful, warm, swimming pool, tennis court, and all very peaceful and bucolic. Surrounded by roses and lavender. I mean, you're stying in a listed historic monument - it couldn't have been better. Ideally located for the Chateaux of the Loire - very close to Azay-Le-Rideau which also has some excellent restaurants. Hosts kind, charming, accommodating and very helpful. For heaven's sake they even have their own wine... what more could you ask for!
