Great location, good wi-fi even in such a remote and private place. Right on Lake Almanor. Lots of games and DVDs to keep you entertained. Good kitchen with ample utensils to whip up a meal, if you like (we did). Bring your own bath + kitchen towels, those are the only thing not provided by the host.

This is our 3rd stay and we had a wonderful relaxing trip once again. The house is clean and very nice. The lake is literally In the backyard and the views are beautiful. We enjoy hiking on trails and fishing. Mt. Lassen is fairly close, we spent a few days there sledding and playing in the snow. Overall another nice relaxing vacation to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city life!

We stayed here for our wedding weekend. 3 hours from arriving I realized we had not received the code to get in yet I started to panic slightly but after a message and a phone call we were able to get a hold of Raul and get the code. When we arrived at the house, we noticed it had not been cleaned. There was old meat in the fridge, food on the counters, the bathrooms were filthy, and the trash had not been taken out. I called Raul immediately to let him know the situation. He was very apologetic and asked if I could send pictures which I did along with a video. He immediately offered to refund some of the money we paid to stay there and attempted to get new cleaners in. He also offered us a special for the next time we want to stay there. We ended up cleaning the place ourselves however I was very appreciative of how Raul handled the situation and would definitely stay here again. He was very responsive throughout our stay and did what he could to make an unfortunate situation better.

Place has been recently updated. Very comfortable inside and you can't beat the views from the large deck!! Flat walk to the dock. House is just as stated. perfect for a family. I can see staying there with three couples w/out a problem. Would definitely go back again.

Great communication with Raul. Incredible views. One level house with two bathrooms, both with shower/tub combo. Great bar-b-que with deck. Well stocked kitchen. Didn't use tv's or dvds. Spent a lot of time outside on back deck. Very pleased with our stay.
