Steven was a wonderful host. Could not do enough to try to please us. We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed our time. The description of Charming is perfect. It is a very large home, and it appears as though Steven is doing his best to update it, however, It is in need of improvements. The grass was all overgrown and there were small trees growing out of the rainspouts. The railings on the porches needed a coat of paint and some of them were not secure. The biggest issues we had were the tub in the master did not have a shower curtain and it was a handheld shower, so you had to take a bath if you didn't want to get water all over everything and the beds in two of the other bedrooms needed to be replaced. That being said the location was excellent for a visit to the Bethel Museum and if you have a large group like we did the home will fit you very comfortably. I think the property is priced fairly and I would recommend it for the price. Just don't expect 5*.

Really enjoyed Steven's property. The 10 & 12 year old boys had a great time seeing the horses,, sheep, pigs, chickens, and especially fishing on the lake and finding frogs.

House was great. Party of 8. It was a 10 min ride to bethel woods for a concert. The lake access is amazing. The kitchen is perfect for a large group. Steve the host was great. Totally recommend this home.

Steve was an excellent host. Exceptional communication and flexibility. The house was great… we especially loved the excellently furnished kitchen and wrap around porch. Steve is doing a great job restoring and improving this spacious old farm house. Very roomy inside with lots of nicely coordinated and time period furnishings. Grandkids loved feeding the horses and exploring down by the lake. By far our favorite BNB experience so far.
