We stayed in a 4 bedroom apartment in the Lower House for a family reunion weekend. What a nice place! It's very cleanly designed with a rustic aesthetic in the Shaker Style, but at the same time stylish, homey and very comfortable. The beds have soft linen sheets and pillows with comfortable mattresses, and each bedroom has its own well appointed bathroom. It's run like a hotel with staff on site to prepare breakfast in a country style farmhouse kitchen, and assist with guest needs. Our unit fronted on Route 97, but was quiet at night as there wasn't much traffic. It's just up the hill from shops and restaurants so very walkable. It's a half block from the Callicoon Brewery, the Distillery and other eating establishments, and has views of the river from the front porch . We had dinner at the Seminary Hill Tasting Room restaurant which has delicious food and a large assortment of New York State ciders, beers and cocktails overlooking the orchards. We definitely want to return

Everything was great from the quality of the mattresses and pillows to how cute the place was. We loved our stay and hope to come again soon!
