Llanwrthwl · 整套loft · 1室1床1.5卫 · 可住2人 · The Loft at Dolifor
Dolifor is a 17th Century former farmhouse located in the glorious scenery of the lower Elan Valley in rural mid-Wales. The Loft is our self-catering first floor, open plan studio apartment for two, built over what used to be the old coach house. It has independent access via a stone staircase (not suitable for small children) and private parking space. Four Poster Bed Fully Equiped Kitchen Lounge with TV Use of washing machine, ironing board and iron available on request Peaceful environment and beautiful views. Wifi is optional and we can create low levels of EMR if required. Our water supply is sourced from a local spring which is regularly tested so free of the usual pollutants in tap water.
Lovely place, very tastefully done, felt very homely. Great location. Would definitely go again.
A very comfortable, slightly whacky and wild nest, great base for outings in the area or just walks out the door.
Excellent small place, really quiet and comfy sofa! Great precise instructions to find the property which is ideally situated to visit the Elan Valley. Great price and highly recommended.
Our own track is accessed off a local lane, so is very peaceful and enjoys far ranging views. Those who stay with us can walk through the many local woods and take time to observe the various birds native to the area. The Elan valley area is a protected environment for the diversity of fauna and flora that thrive within it. There is much to explore in the area of the lakes of the Elan Valley and the Cambrian Mountains from the front door. The Elan Valley Trail itself starts a kilometre away giving The Rhayader Loop 18 miles of track and road to walk or cycle. The rivers Wye and Elan are both within close walking distance below the house. The source of the river Wye and the Severn lay just a few miles to the North of Dolifor.
The market town of Rhayader is just 2.5 miles away and has excellent facilities and amenities as does nearby Builth Wells at 11.5 miles and Llandrindod Wells some 13 miles away. The coast at Aberystwyth is about an hours drive so there are many options for exploring and enjoying the area. The town of Brecon is 30 miles to the South with the Brecon Beacons close by and to the North just 36 miles away lies the Snowdonia National Park.
自我介绍
I'd classify myself as alternative in terms of lifestyle. Dolifor is a good place to be if you enjoy peace, wildlife and the natural environment. We try to be as sustainable as possible here and support Wales's aspirations to create greater wellbeing for future generations.
