The location is what mattered to us and that was tops. The unit is huge and can accommodate a very large number of people. Bedrooms and bathrooms were plenty. Now for the unit, (it's dated) needs a good going over, carpets are stained (Greg warned me about that), outside needed sweeping and the unit needs dusting and cleaning of cobwebs, etc. None of that affected our stay. The real wakeup call, however, was we had to wash and dry all the bedding before we left. As a result, we brought our own bedding. The group was not too happy about that but we marshalled thru. This info came just before we left for the unit via phone call from Greg. The weekend went fine and we did enjoy the roomy home with most everything you need to keep everyone happy. I could see this as a great place to bring one or two families as the beach is just out the back and would be great for kids and parents alike. Large fun room downstairs and a real neat place over the garage for the kids to sleep. (disclosure: everyone in our group is retired)

Greg is very friendly and easy to work with. The house was exactly as described and portrayed in the pictures. If anything, the place is even bigger and nicer than what it looks like in the photos. It is right on the lake. Three or four deck/patio spaces, and plenty of space inside. Great layout for common gatherings upstairs and in basement, but rooms and bathrooms are laid out to maximize privacy. Note you will need to bring your own towels and paper products. Cell service can be spotty while driving through the area, but not terrible. Also, the roads can be tough for small cars if a good snow comes down. Overall, great place for big groups and offers many kid friendly amenities. I would recommend, and will be keeping in mind next time we travel to that area!

This house is in such a wonderful location, as it is literally steps from the water. we were able to sleep 10 people very comfortably and could have accommodated even more in equal comfort. The layout was very open and great for large family gathering/meals. The kitchen was big and well equipped. Greg was very easily available and easy to communicate with. We would definitely come back again.

Beautiful location and accommodated family of 10 comfortably. The house is worn and not maintained as well as it should be. The biggest inconvenience was that there is a number of things not provided: toilet paper, paper towels, towels laundry soap, dish soap, etc. You have to make beds when you get there so keep that in mind if you are planning on getting in late and going straight to bed. Overall our stay was fairly good.

This house is absolutely beautiful! My family and I stayed for a three day weekend, and were very sad to leave. The pictures truly don't do it justice. The deck overlooking Lake Michigan and the private lakefront were stunning. The layout of the house and the kitchen were perfect for spending time with a large group. The house was clean and well-organized. Greg was very responsive and helpful before and during our stay, and my family is already looking forward to trying to stay there again in the future!
