Wonderful villa, beautifully decorated and location meant travelling around the island was easy. Local tavernas a great addition. The owner Poly went above and beyond to help us and make us feel at home!
We've just returned from a fabulous stay at Levantes in Prines- the villa is absolutely beautiful; incredibly spacious and stylish, immaculately clean and extremely comfortable; we didn't want to leave! Poly, the villa owner, was very warm and welcoming and has put a huge amount of thought into making sure guests have everything they need, with lots of little finishing touches to make you feel at home. The outside terraces and pool area are stunning with a mix of sun and shaded areas surrounded by fig, lemon and lime trees and beautiful flowers. We found some lovely beaches about 15 minutes drive away and a large choice of restaurants in Rethymno, again about a 15 min drive. There are also plenty of amenities in Prines, including a bakery, supermarket and a few little restaurants serving local cuisine. We'd thoroughly recommend Levantes for a relaxing break in the sun, the villa is beautiful and a great base for exploring Crete.
A luxurious and beautiful place with plenty of space. Everyone had their favorite places to lounge around at as there’s plenty of options both inside and outside. The friendly cats roaming around outside were an unexpected bonus for our kids – I suppose the cats were the only thing stopping our kids developing gills from all the swimming in the pool. The place was close enough to Rethimno to take a short drive in the evenings to explore this lovely little city with dozens of excellent taverns and restaurants. A great base for exploring the middle part of Crete in general and even some of the southern beaches only a 45-minute drive away. We enjoyed our time here and our hosts hospitality.
The house is beautiful and spacious. The location is secluded and peaceful, yet only a short drive from the beach and the main town of Rethymno.The car is a must. The owner was very helpful and responsive, and went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. There are a few tavernas within walking distance. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at this house. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind, and we would definitely recommend it to others.
