All my experiences of being an Airbnb guest have been good but staying at Belinda’s was the best so far. Since I’ve become an Airbnb host myself, I feel so much more aware of everything that goes into becoming a great Airbnb host & Belinda is an amazing combination of all those qualities : sensitive to the guests’ needs, helpful, attentive listener and blessed with deep generosity of spirit. The annexe overlooks her beautiful garden which she tends to with so much care. I stayed with my husband and daughter and all three of us had a wonderful time.

What can I say about our stay at Dartington and the very lovely Belinda? We landed here while we looked for somewhere to live in the area, life was rather stressful, but the safety and security we found at the annexe was such a help. The Annexe itself is a lovely size with everything you need, it is private but part of the house so you feel very connected, it has a lovely patio directly from your sitting room overlooking the garden. Lovely linens and the most comfortable beds, hot water when ever you need it. A wonderful place to stay As for Belinda, she is as warm and welcoming as you could ever wish for, we were made to feel like part of the family, and nothing was too much trouble. I can not praise her enough and we miss her very much, although luckily for us we are not far away.

perfect for our short stay in Dartington

We enjoyed our stay in the spacious annexe. Belinda is an attentive, thoughtful and generous host. We had everything we needed for a long term stay- use of shared kitchen and washing machine as well as our own privacy. We had direct access to the garden which was ideal for our dog too. There was a huge variety of teas provided along with Horlicks, hot chocolate, coffee etc and kettle in the annexe as well as mueslis, yogurt fruit and eggs ( try the coddled ones ) for breakfast which we really enjoyed at the weekends along with our chats with Belinda and other guests. Comfy beds, towels and toiletries are provided and we were warm and cosy. Location is ideal next to one of the best pubs and local amenities Cider Press, shops, pizzalogica in Dartington village and the beautiful Dartington Estate. Lots of walks nearby. We were able to enjoy the nearby town of Totnes just a few miles away. Would definitely recommend!
