The place is exactly as it is shown in the pictures, especially the view from the terrace is breathtaking! Not just during the day but also in the night, as you can do stargazing for hours because of the openness of the view and the zero polution. Sunrise/sunset might be a little difficult to capture because of the mountains and clouds. The place is completely remote and very quiet, giving a very serene experience. Might be a little difficult to find the place because it is so remote, although there are several signboards kept along the way and the host (Matthew) is always available on call to give directions. Recommend to plan reaching before dark to be able to find the place easily, and preferably take a 4x4 or a vehicle with good ground clearance and power. Apart from the house, an absolute MUST-VISIT is a small stream and a tiny waterfall within the host's own rubber plantation area (will try attaching pictures here), which is completely isolated and extremely beautiful, giving the experience of a personal waterfall and an infinity pool, since the pond is at the edge of a small cliff (just a few feet down but still gives the same effect). Special mention to the local caretaker (Deepu) who is an absolute champ, helping with whatever is needed and always just a phone call away (speaks only Malayalam but that never seemed to be a problem). Recommend arranging for food and beverages from the nearest town (Kudiyanmala) before reaching the place since there are no shops (or houses!) nearby and everything becomes pitch dark after 7. All in all, an amazing place to stay and definitely a must-visit! Worth every penny!

This place is quite a nice accomodation. People wants to live in the Serene and quiet place can choose this one. Though reaching this place at night is bit difficult as this is a remote place and telephone connection is very bleak except JIO nothing works . So please try to reach during the day light. Mathew is a great host.
