The room with a view does not disappoint! Lovely private spot with restaurants within walking distance. Great for bird watching, kayaking right from the backyard. Would love to come back!

Loved my stay at Gail and Gerard's lovely Murrells Inlet guest suite. By the Sea was exactly what I hoped for: quiet, private, beautiful inside with a comfortable reading chair; and outside plenty of patio/lawn furniture (in both covered and open areas) for relaxing with a view of the salt marsh, birds, and ocean in the distance. Very comfortable bed and luxurious bedding with A/C working well if needed. Gail was very helpful with recommendations and checking in on anything needed. Gerard gave accurate information on the kayak safety/rules and high tide schedule, making it so easy to kayak during the high-tide window. I also fell in love with the Schwinn bike and bike trail that I took to the Huntington Beach State Park. Great restaurants in walking distance. Lovely hosts. Fun interactions with fellow guests staying in other suites. I hope to stay again when I make it back to the east coast!

Cozy place with ample parking and nice private entry. Gail provided spa-like touch with music on entry, robes/chocolates on the bed. We loved the free access to Huntington State Park and tranquil views of marsh.

In life you have those moments and places where you are just meant to be. For my wife and I this is one of those special places. The view of the marsh and the ocean breeze at sunrise is spectacular. Cant imagine better hospitality and arrangements anywhere else in Murrells Inlet.
