The cabin had such beautiful scenery & it is located about 5 mins to nearest grocery store and restaurants (location is perfect) Home owners were very responsive and let me check in early as my friends and I got there very early to avoid the rain or possible road closures. We enjoyed our stay but we did feel like we got cat fished for lack of better word. The cabin was a lot smaller than the pictures portrayed and very out dated. The kitchen could use larger selection of appliances and dish ware. However the scenery truly was beautiful & location was great! I would definitely stay here again.

First off the owners are really nice and very responsive. I booked the home for a family Christmas vacation. The home is beautiful and the rooms spacious. We really enjoyed sitting around the fireplace playing games and laughing. The reason I didn’t mark it as excellent is the home could use a little updating in the two rooms I find most important in a family rental: Bathrooms and Kitchen. In the bath the knob for the tub was faulty and wouldn’t turn on and the one in the guest shower was really difficult to turn as well. The owners were very apologetic and even refunded me $40 for the inconvenience but it did make dressing in the mornings a challenge as I needed my husband to cut on and off the shower. In the kitchen we had a difficult time making the Christmas dinner we’d planned. We couldn’t find a mixer or blender, the knives were very dull and the pans were missing lids. Just replacing the old cookware and adding a a few basics would really make this place a 5 star.
