John’s place is the best AirBnB we’ve ever stayed at. The property is in a beautiful and quiet location and extremely private. The views are amazing and access to local wildlife fantastic. The property is very well appointed with everything you could need and more. Particular highlights are the wood burner and the fire pit outside. John is helpful and friendly with great communication. We will definitely be back!

Another great stay at John’s beautiful home! Spotless, warm and inviting with all the modern comforts you can imagine. Private location is perfect for relaxing while being close enough to town. We loved the view of the mountains from the deck, and enjoyed a hike along the Blaeberry River where many bald eagles were keeping an eye out for the spawning salmon. Perfect Fall getaway, thanks John!

our stay at the Golden Goose was peaceful and relaxing! truly one of the nicest airbnbs we have stayed in. the entire place was immaculate, and the amenities were as described. if we're ever back in BC, we hope to stay at John's place again!

The house is so beautiful and the setting very peaceful. I love sitting on the deck and admiring the mountains while listening to the local wildlife. The house is fully stocked and nicely appointed. Always spotless! John is a wonderful host and very responsive. This is my third time renting the house and it is always a pleasure to stay there.

A fantastic chalet - very comfortable indeed and beautifully designed - it stood out as one of the best airbnb's we have ever stayed in. The long terrace has beautiful forest and mountain views and was a very peaceful quiet place to relax. Everything in the chalet was of a very high quality which gave a sense of luxury to our stay. We would both love to return.
