We had a wonderful time! We went for our anniversary weekend and had such a good time touring the local Florida Springs that we decided to stay a few extra nights. Sharon & CH are wonderful hosts! Very friendly and hospitable. The cottage had everything and more than we needed. The kitchen was well stocked with every possible thing you could want. The cottage was cozy and looked just like the pictures. The area was quiet. A few neighbors are close by, but very quiet and peaceful. We had a great time at several local springs. Sharon & CH gave us great places to go to swim & kayak. We saw manatees as well! Linda, the caretaker of the property, came to visit us the first morning to make sure we had everything we needed. She was very friendly and helpful. She gave us good spots to check out as well. We would come again. It was all that we hoped for (peace & quiet and relaxing). Thank you Sharon & CH! Sharon is an awesome hostess as well as Linda the caretaker! Our experience here while home hunting was extremely peaceful and quiet. We had our pets with us and The Deer Cottage is very accommodating for fur babies! Sharon was always very responsive through communication while Linda checked on us to make sure we had what we needed and made sure we were OK. I appreciate that type of hospitality and recommend staying at the cottage while visiting or traveling through Lake City! Thank you Sharon & Linda!

Cute place, easy to work with host, no complaints, I would rent again if I’m ever out that way.
