We had a great stay in this cosy home. Perfect for a family with two kids, and very walkable to lots of places around Aireys Inlet, including the shops and the beach!

This home is lovely and well set-location is great!The owners have thought of everything for a comfortable stay. While there is only 1 toilet, the separate bathroom made the situation workable for a family. Unfortunately the house was not clean when we got there.There were stains on the base sheets on the beds, doonas crumpled, crumbs on the upholstery and floor, beds unmade, cobwebs everywhere, windows filthy, etc I raised this with local Great Ocean Road Holidays immediately. They followed up & told me the owners had organised the cleaner to come in the day before we arrived but no one came. When asked how the situation would be handled, Eg compensation, there was no clear solution offered. No apology. 2 weeks later and 3 follow ups by me, the situation still hasn’t been resolved. In the end I escalated to a different office & hope to hear back.Aside from this issue, the house was nice but perhaps the owners should organise window cleaning & deck sweeping to improve its presentation

Lovely home in a terrific spot. The property doesn’t include linen, which was clearly communicated by the hosts, but still a little annoying for the price. The home was comfortable, with great extras included for families. The deck is lovely, we had visits from king parrots and cockatoos. Also loved that it was pet friendly. We could definitely stay again.

Our family of five had a great stay at the recently renovated Myrtle Cottage. Loved how you could just walk to the local shops, an eatery of your choice and the lighthouse. Highly recommend.
