This was a decent place to stay to explore Ocala National Forest and the various Springs. Place is very basic but clean. The only seating is a slim futon and 2 wooden kitchen chairs. Bed was fine and a quiet location. A great view from the porch but bring a camp chair!

The unit itself is exactly what you see in the picture. It’s was clean and everything was in good working order. There are several small mobile homes they call cabins located lake front in an RV/trailer park. The view was spectacular. The “resort” is fine but the word resort is a stretch. It’s actually a mobile home Park right on SR 40. There were some RV guests checked in as well. Honestly when we pulled up I was hesitant to stay but the people were nice and friendly. We felt safe and confident about leaving our gear tied down outside. The resort had absolutely nothing to do except a bar on site. All other activities were a car ride elsewhere. Be prepared to drive. There were some kids running around the park but no playground and the lake is not usable due to gators. Water craft may be used but there isn’t a dock or ramp. We did enjoy the surrounding area and got to explore 3 of 4 of the nearby (within 25 miles) springs. My only real complaint is that we found out only after booking ... that Airbnb host is charging double what the resort charges. We begged for a discount and were told no...and under strict cancellation rules could not get our money back. I would probably never stay there again just because there are millions more places I would like to check out. But if I did, I’d have to book thru the resort.
