La Lavanda is a small B&B apartment with 2 rooms for family with kids or couple with friends. It is in the middle of our family organic farm, surrounded by olive trees. Enjoy my accommodation for its quiet, exceptional view, a garden to enjoy the quiet and the landscape, pets are welcome. In the morning we serve an Italian breakfast with local products, bread, cakes and jam home made, you will be able to cook your own meals or go to the restaurant in the Fattoria. Guests have at their disposal a double bedroom and a bedroom with a single bed that can be converted into a double bed. The kitchen is with all what you need to make your own meals. In the living room you can have your meals or relax.

Wij hebben erg genoten van ons verblijf bij Paolo. Bij aankomst voelde het meteen heel prettig en welkom aan! Bijzondere plek in een mooi gebied in Toscane, met een geweldig uitzicht! Het appartement was veel groter dan we verwacht hadden. Paolo is een hele fijne en hartelijke man, Die o.a graag gepassioneerd over zijn moestuin praat! De beleving en het uitzicht bij het zwembad ging ver boven onze verwachting, een hele fijne rustgevende plek om wat warme uurtjes door te brengen. Het nabij gelegen restaurant van Paolo’s zus mag je zeker niet missen! Mooie plek, hartelijke mensen en vooral heerlijk eten voor een eerlijke prijs! Zelf geproduceerde wijn en olijfolie zijn top!
Een prachtige plek om te verblijven. In alle rust genieten van de mooie omgeving met vriendelijke mensen om je heen.

L’Orto dei Bruchi dispone di tre appartamenti in stile rustico ricavati da un piccolo borghetto (5 appartamenti) chiamato Il Leccio, nome preso dal rio che scorre vicino. Tutt'e tre le dimore hanno un‘entrata indipendente che si affaccia sul giardino, angolo cottura attrezzato, soggiorno, bagno. In totale ci sono 5 camere e 11 posti letto. Tutte le stanze hanno travi in legno a vista, le finestre si affacciano sul bellissimo panorama della piana di Lucca.
L’Orto dei Bruchi si trova: vicino al percorso della Strada del Vino e dell’Olio delle Colline Lucchesi e dell’itinerario delle sei Ville signorili situate nel Comune di Capannori e Lucca. A 8 Km dalla Città di Pescia ( PT ), famosa per I suoi vivai di olive, agrumi , piante da appartamento e sulla produzione di fiori recisi che esporta in grandi quantità in tutto il mondo. A 5 Km da Collodi ( PT ), borgo medievale dedicato allo scrittore della storia di Pinocchio, Carlo Collodi. Qui troviamo l’aristocratica Villa Garzoni e il Parco di Pinocchio. A 12 Km da Montecarlo ( LU ), borgo del 1333 circondato dalla splendida cinta muraria ben conservata . E infine dalle splendide città rinomate per la loro ricca storia, bellezza, cultura e arte, A 12 Km da Lucca. A 39 Km da Pisa. A 70 Km da Firenze.

I received my degree in 1972 at the Naval Accademy in Livorno after which I worked as a navy pilot for about eight years. After leaving the navy I directed and ran the family farm near Lucca (wine, olive oil and tourism) for about 10 years and, more recently, I operated as a private banker for important Italian banks and as an insurance and financial consultant in the yacht business with leading European companies. For the last few years I have also been working in the fields of renewable energy and real estate. I like to cook, I produce my oun vegetables in a synergic garden and make my own bread cooked in a wood oven. Luisa (my wife) and I love to meet new people, listen to music and travel. My family motto is: Frangar non flectar
