As my first cabin trip I was so happy that I didn’t feel like I was in the woods although we were surrounded by them. The lake and path to it was a spectacular view point. I was so surprised at how many items they had in the kitchen. All up to date appliances. It looks EXACTLY like the pictures. The TV was a perfect big tv. I emphasize this because I’ve rented places with rusty old Magnavox TVs with static channels that made the stay unpleasant. Every bed was comfy with comfy and ample pillows. Robyn and Louis were great and responsive hosts. The highlights was the balcony and lower patio. The kitchen spices, pots etc made my day. We had EVERYTHING including marshmallows for the fire in the kitchen. It was so unexpected compared to other places. I will be staying again next summer I hope and I’ve already recommended it to friends! Thank you Robyn and Louis. You and your home was beyond my expectations.

We had a very peaceful and enjoyable time at the cabin. The lake and the additional kayaks we brought were enjoyed by all even though the stairs were a challenge. Five times up and down the stairs is definitely a workout for anyone. A couple of us enjoyed the outdoor shooting range nearby while the others went to the Nantahala River Outdoor center for drinks and lunch. We enjoyed the Crane Creek Vineyard as we all enjoyed Donna's birthday with a wine tasting and a picnic lunch The area was absolutely beautiful. You cannot have a better host and hostess They were actively engaged in our stay and we could not have been more pleased with their overall kindness!!! Sheldon and Donna

I'm so glad we found this place! This house was very clean and comfortable. The dock was great-We spent most of our time down there when the weather was nice and utilized the kayak a lot. We did bring our own paddle board and lounge chairs, though there were folding chairs available in the boat house. There's a great hangout spot halfway down the steps to eat lunch or to stop and catch your breath. We had some storms during our visit, but we were able to watch movies in the basement while we waited for the bad weather to pass. We enjoyed having morning coffee on the swings overlooking the lake. The kitchen is well equipped, and the hosts were very kind. Would love to stay here again in the future.

We had such a great time relaxing the days away or taking the pontoon boat out. Had lunch at the marina one day. It was delicious. Took the train ride through the gorge which was delightful as well. The deck is amazing! We used it all of the time. The house was clean and organized and very well stocked. Great place!!

Great lake house. Very comfortable. The lake is wonderful too... lot's of fun with the family.
