Ian and Barbara’s converted barn is pure heaven. Quiet and exquisite - nothing to fault. And private - while at the back of their house I felt very much on my own and independent. Sandwich is a beautiful town with stunning surroundings- countryside and beach.

Close to the centre of Sandwich this is a perfect place to stay and either relax or use as a starting point for visiting other surrounding towns and villages. The accommodation was easy to find and although down a small side street we were able to unload right outside before parking a short walk away. Very comfortable bed and lounge area with TV and wifi all functioning as expected. The kitchen was small but contained everything we needed for our stay. The shower room was large and clean with ample towels. The overall area is large and open plan making it feel roomy and spacious. Dogs are allowed which was a bonus and many bars, pubs and restaurants in the village are also dog friendly. We ate in the Crispin Inn and DiVino's both of which were friendly, sociable and pleasant for an evening meal. I would definitely recommend both. Sandwich is a good location for walking and visiting other cinque ports along the coastline.

Ian was so helpful and made planning my partners weekend so much easier from cab recommendations to even eating at his local gastropup lovely studio flat. the fridge was really small and we couldn't get it below 10° but as we were out eating and celebrating a birthday was not a big issue. super friendly, lovely space and fantastic location. highly recommended!

My husband and I had a very nice stay at this property in Sandwich. Ian even booked a table at his local (walking distance) pub for us where he had a very nice meal. The property was very clean and tidy and had everything we needed.
