john was awesome. we were running late and wasn't going to make it before the main gate closed. John made sure we had a key to get in the gate and was very pleasant to work with. would definitely recommend this place to anyone

We had a great time staying at this Bnb! The kitchen was very well stocked, making it easy to do home meals and prepare lunch for a day out at the lake. The location was great, about a 2 minute drive to the marina for some quick fishing. The hosts were great at communicating with us and letting us know about available amenities and the check in process with the guards. Had a great view of the lake, and was definitely one of the bests places we've stayed at!

Great getaway! Comfortable for the family! Clean and well equipped home with a friendly and responsive host! Could use a TV upstairs and stronger WiFi for streaming purposes (for the kids) but in all honesty it was a perfect home to disconnect and reset! Wonderful views! Cozy and inviting furniture/ setting. John was very easy to communicate with!

John’s communication was a 5 star. The reason I’m giving it a 3 star is because the kitchen amenities were not what they should’ve been, especially for the price I paid. Most of the spices were outdated by 1 to 2 years. There was also no coffee in the coffee jar nor a countertop creamer, and water bottles in the fridge. These items are essential when you’re renting a house. I’m all about the small details as they count the most. Oak Shores does not have a store and the closest store is 30 minutes away. This caused us to have to drive an hour round trip in the morning to get coffee. Paying around $450 a night, I would expect all these little details to be in place. Again, John’s communication was excellent. I would just give him some constructive criticism to take it up a notch with the presentation of having these small things in place.
