Great location. Really enjoyed the beach and saw a lot of wildlife during the walk back and forth to the beach. No cabinet storage in the kitchen. Will need paper towels and cooking supplies: oil, spices, etc. If planning to cook in the kitchen.

Absolutely beautiful open concept home privately set in the jungle. Love waking up to monkeys and birds everyday. Walk to the private beach is very creative with all of the recycled decor. Daily laundry was a huge bonus. If you love a private setting in nature while still having modern amenities, this is your place. We will definitely be back!

I can’t say enough about Congo Bongo. It rained a lot while we were there and that would have been terrible in a hotel or closed house, but the porch was a delight morning, noon and night. Masai took great care of us and made sure we had everything we need. Marina kept the house spotless and having laundry service every day was a real luxury. The layout of the house was fantastic and having a screened kitchen where you can have fresh air and animal sounds is a dream. I highly recommend this place and would happily move in if I could.

We had a great stay with our family! We loved being in the jungle and felt secluded. Waking up to Howler monkeys was pretty incredible, even if it is at 5am! :) The kids were entertained exploring around our house and the path to the beach. The beach was very secluded and shady, great for kids to play in the sand. Manzanillo beach was just a short walk away. Power went out the first night for a few hours, which made it difficult to get ready for bed. (Flashlights are provided!) Wi-fi was intermittent, but to be expected in Costa Rica. Owner was very responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend to any adventurous families.
