Really lovely bungalow just a few steps from the beach. Check-in was super easy, the place is spacious and nicely decorated, and the direct private access to a beautiful beach can't be beat. The ocean directly outside was a bit rougher (there's some reefs right there) but still fine for our kids to play and jump waves, and it was just a three minute walk to a more sheltered beach on the other side of the point. As others have noted, the kitchen was a bit barebones but we didn't really use it as it's easy to access a variety of nearby restaurants. We were there during the week, so the beach was largely empty - as we left on Saturday it looked like a fair number of people were arriving, so weekends might be a bit more hectic. All in all, a great place to relax in Punta Uva and enjoy the vibe of the area.

The place was in a great and beautiful location. Well maintained grounds. The house was very clean. I liked it very much. The only issues I have is with the master bedroom A/C, the exhaust pipe going out the window and if the door wasn't open it didn't get very cool at all and would be extremely stuffy. Blackout curtains for the sun and for the windows along the street area is very much needed IMO. The place and grounds were great. The host is very responsive.

We loved our stay at the Bungalow. Family of 5, kids aged 14, 12 and 10. The house was very clean and had all the amenities we needed, although the kitchen is basic we didn't need anything more and ate out a lot; so many restaurants a short tuk tuk ride away, as well as two within walking distance. The beach out the front is steps away, it is stunning, it gets very busy on the weekend but we could always reserve our spot before the crowds arrived. Had a few days where it was very calm and we could go for night swims, then a few days where the waves were very big and the kids had so much fun swimming. Not great for surfing out the front, the kids had lessons at Playa Grande, highly recommend the Caribbean Surf School. Really easy to get Tuk Tuks into Puerto Viejo, about $10USD, we much preferred Playa Cocles and Chiquita; really laid back with much nicer restaurants. Highly recommend a trip to Bri Bri waterfalls! Great family holiday, highly recommend.

Me gustó mucho este lugar! La cercanía a la playa es increíble y la privacidad muy buena. La comunicación con el property manager fue muy buena y fácil. Súper recomendado para pasar un rato tranquilo!
