Beautiful place. Clean and comfortably furnished and decorated. Peaceful back porch and yard. Well stocked with snacks, spices, cooking needs, and even some farm fresh eggs. Highly recommend.

Loretta and Dan are impeccable hosts, as is their beautiful home! I would recommend this home to anyone wanting to explore the NC Blue Ridge! The Dupont State Forest is amazing and not far to drive and the hosts provide fresh eggs from their free range chickens as a 'bonus'. Their hole sits on a very beautiful piece of property and I highly recommend !

Absolutely amazing! The property was beautiful, and the outdoor amenities were so comfortable. The basement apartment was clean and orderly. Everything we needed was provided: spices, dishes, utensils and cooking equipment, towels, snacks, anything we might need. She even provided us with farm-fresh eggs and honey. Loretta was very nice and had recommendations of how to enjoy the property, as well as a binder in the apartment filled with helpful information. We will definitely be returning for future stays!

Everyone! Please read this! Loretta's place is the BEST Airbnb we've stayed in why, well first of all, the home was equipped with everything we needed! Having an infant! Sometimes you don't bring all your stuff, the home had a high chair, pack n play and baby tub! Bumpers for my toddler in the room she was staying, stepstool, snacks, snores, fresh eggs, fully stocked kitchen, games, chalk coloring books smart TVs, lots of accommodation by the host. Bathroom stocked is stocked! The cherry on top, she had brought toys she had, and my 4 year old literally played her heart out! Lots of beautiful things on the property, such as fire pit, outdoor dining, scenic, we got to feed and see the chickens, feed the fish in the pond! And greeted by a sweet doggy! Peaceful, and she suggested so many great places and things for us to do! And incredibly open for anything we needed, we felt like home. We are already planning to come back soon!!! Love this place!!!! Keep it going!!!!! We loved it!!!

I can’t say enough about what great hosts Loretta and Dan were. Their place is cozy, quiet and easy to settle into. Throughout our stay they were responsive, friendly and helpful. We loved the dogs and chickens (and the white squirrel that made a couple of appearances).
