Comfortable and roomy place, very clean and new. Host was kind and happily came over and helped us with the washing machine. Lots of natural light in the suite and beautiful balcony overlooks an adorable lemon tree. Would recommend.

We loved Susana’s apartment in Tavira. It is gorgeous and bright and newly renovated in a lovely old building. It is very large and has everything one could need for an extended stay. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking meals. The apartment is spotlessly clean and the bed was really comfortable with nice linens and yellow pillowcases that match the lemon tree outside the bedroom window. The location is perfect, right in the centre with a grocery store a minute away and great restaurants right there. It was very quiet despite being close to everything. Susana is a great host. She met us upon arrival and explained everything to us and was responsive throughout our stay. I highly recommend this apartment to enjoy a great time in lovely Tavira.

Susana was very friendly and helpful and the area was a good place for us to be based. The apartment was comfortable. We probably stayed in Tavira longer than a lot of tourists do (unless they move there, and lots of ex-pats appear to have). We spent most days walking all around the city and exploring different neighborhoods. So many lovely layers of the past meeting up with the present. You can find everything you might want as a tourist but also if you dig a little deeper, there are plenty of opportunities to be in neighborhoods that are a bit away from all of that, offering a more authentic, locals vibe.

We had a great stay in Susana’s apartment. It is in a lovely traditional Tavira house, but is modern and well-equipped inside. We were very comfortable there. The road was busy at times but French windows blocked out any traffic noise. Susana was there to meet us on our arrival and gave us a thorough introduction to the apartment, plus very useful information about restaurants and places to go. Free parking about 5minutes away. The best thing of all was the location! Just a few minutes walk to the boat to the beach, the main square, Roman bridge etc, and lovely local restaurants and a mini market very nearby. We wouldn’t hesitate to go back. Thank you Susana!
