It was our second time staying at the church, and we enjoyed ourselves even more this time. They had made some improvements to the space, and we were able to use the fireplace this stay, which was a lot of fun.

It is a very unique place to stay. Lots of open space, firepit outside and fireplace inside, and it is well kept.

Very cool historic church. About 20 minutes from Dubuque, 30 minutes from Galena, and 5 minutes from downtown Cuba City. Cuba City is worth a visit- stop at Nick's for breakfast then visit the several great antique shops. Fireplace was great and lots of firewood was provided. Outside there's a large deck with a grill and seating, and a small yard with firepit area and a picnic table. Neighboring houses are quite close but it was very quiet. Some road noise from passing vehicles. Beautiful church windows let in lots of light. Bring an eye mask if you want to sleep in.
