Conveniently located— everywhere I needed to be was less than 10 minutes’ drive! The place was spotlessly clean but the bathrooms and lobby area were somewhat dated. The breakfast— primarily microwaveable Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches, mini yogurts, and granola bars— was a little lackluster, though was filling for my busy days. I liked the nice, high ceilings in the bedroom, but I wish there were blackout curtains, as the ones installed were very pretty but let sun/street light as well as headlights (the road gets plenty of traffic, even on the off season) into the room. Overall the value of the place was quite good, and it was a convenient home base to stay during this work trip.

We stayed 2 nights at Carriage House for our anniversary and loved it! Each time we’d get back from our activities for the day we’d say, in someway shape or form, “I’m so glad we stayed here.” The location is great because you’re out of the hustle and bustle, but just a short drive from so it if you want to explore! It was such a homey and cozy feel. The staff was wonderful too. The only problem we had was a build up of ants in one area of the room; however, in an old building like that, it didn’t seem to be a big deal. When we brought attention to it, the person at the desk went up to the room while we were at dinner, sprayed the area, and we didn’t see the ants afterwards. We would definitely stay here again!
