Had a great stay at Gillian’s pods while driving the NC500. Gillian was very kind and helpful. I instructions were clear and easy to follow. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in this area.

A beautiful 3 night stay in No.2 Perfect location for dog walks, and the lovely town of John o’groats. We saw the northern lights on our first night which was amazing for us! Well priced, quiet area, very clean. Also great parking right next to the pod! Will be returning!

This stay was one of 10 on our NC500 trip and stands out from other similar stays along the route. Things we loved: 1 mile from NC500 route and so close John o'groats and other places of interest, the peaceful and beautiful surrounding, the cleanliness and coziness of the pod - could get settled straight away with everything that you need, thoughtful touches, such as local biscuits, hot chocolate, shower wash etc. the number of coat/clothes hooks and places for wet boots - essential when experiencing 4 seasons in a day, although this is one of 2 pods it feels so personal and private due to the set up, enclosed field - super safe for dog It was a perfect stay!

A really lovely place, inside and out. Clean, cozy and well-equipped. The owner is very careful to make sure that the guests are well looked after. The place is veryconvenient for the Orkney ferry, and is situated on some beautiful coastline. Users of the coastal trail willfind it very convenient as you canstay for a single night.
