Muy buen lugar si quieres ir a descansar y relajarte, una zona muy bonita de la laguna, vistas únicas y muy relajante, perfecta ubicación a 5 min en taxi del centro. Junto a esta casa hay un hotel que sirve desayunos, comidas y cenas deliciosas y a precios muy buenos. Además los taxis ubican perfecto el lugar por el hotel. Son 3 casas las que hay en ese predio (todas independientes) pero hay buen espacio por lo que no es incómodo tener estos vecinos. La única “incomodidad” es que el baño (aunque es privado) es bajando las escaleras, pero es lo que es, no se puede cambiar y para mí no fue inconveniente. Pero a tomar en cuenta. Las camas cómodas, el aire acondicionado funciona perfecto, tienen toallas para baño y para los camastros. Aunque tiene un jacuzzi no lo usé, teniendo esa laguna no hace falta. Se puede nadar en esa zona con seguridad. Volvería sin duda. Nani siempre está atenta y te recomienda lugares y soluciones a tus peticiones.

It was a nice distance to town. The bikes would get you there easily, however only one bike was rideable, and the brakes were questionable. We asked for more air in the tires and Nani was very responsive, which was lovely. They still need some maintenance.. The restaurant next door starts playing music around 8 am, and one of the Lounge chairs is missing a cushion. Good juices from the restaurant! The swimming is great and there’s a little sand bar you can get to right from the dock which was fun and keeps you out of the path of any boats. Tons of bird life which we loved, including some chicks wandering around the property with a few protective parents :) Beautiful bougainvillea! Nani was really helpful, and we loved the lagoon, but for the price we expected things to be more functional.

We really enjoyed our time in the apartment. The private pier as well as the terrace and the garden are amazing. Since most of the waterfront in Bacalar isn’t open to the public the private pier for swimming and sunbathing made all the difference!! Nani was super responsive and helpful. The lighting in the apartment was well designed, creating a beautiful ambience at night time. The bikes could have been in better shape, but were incredibly convenient to get around town. Thank you!
