What a lovely spot! Thank you for a relaxing, peaceful weekend holiday. The cabin is clean, cozy and stylish. The river is magical. And so close to Allan Park Conservation Area where we went for a wonderful hike.

Joanne was a great host and her “Little Red Cabin” was a wonderful fall escape for Thanksgiving weekend. The cabin was cozy and beautifully decorated. The barrel sauna was such a great treat. We took her up on some of the local attractions and hikes. Many thanks! We can’t wait for our next visit!

We stayed at the Little Red Cabin by the River for two weeks at the end of September. The cabin was cozy, comfortable, clean and thoughtfully equipped. Joanne provided us with lots of options for a local laundromat and the one we used was easy to find, clean and convenient. The cabin is located on a beautiful slow shallow river with fish, toads and crayfish :-) and the property it is on is very well kept. The wood fired sauna was a real plus! Best of all for us, this space was pet friendly. There was so much to do in the surrounding area, we didn't even finish our list. Joanne provided great recommendations for surrounding sights, events and shopping. We would definitely stay here again and would gladly recommend it to anyone else who is looking for a peaceful, quiet stay in a beautiful locale within a short drive from lots of options for shopping / attractions / socializing.
