This is our 4th stay at Luke’s Lodge. Danita never ceases to amaze us with all the upgrades she has done and additions to the place. The new floors, gas stove, and the black stone were really nice. She also responds very quickly to any concerns or questions we have. Looking forward to coming back in May!

Very comfortable stay in a lovely setting. We had come for the Maple Festival in neighboring Highland County, Virginia, but we also explored some trails and backroads in WV, to see Seneca Rocks and Spruce Knob among other things. Danita was very responsive when we had questions during our stay and also gave us some great recommendations for local things to see or try. The cabin had a great layout for 2 couples and 1 toddler. Especially nice deck and outdoor area, with a view and sounds of the stream running by. Good wifi for streaming TV/movies too, and some games, puzzles and books — perfect for relaxing in the cabin itself. Fully stocked kitchen, and everything was clean and comfy.

It was a beautiful place nestled right on the side of a beautiful mountain creek and up against a mountain! We felt right at home with the great cabin like decor. It was nice that it had modern conveniences of the newer appliances. It was a beautiful place and we would come back!

We had a wonderful time at Danita's cabin. It was clean and comfortable with many amenities. We enjoyed walking in to the lit tree, and Danita had everything we needed. The beds were so comfortable with fabulous pillows and bedding. Danita's property is gorgeous and peaceful. I loved sitting on the porch and listening to the stream in the mornings. We went on some wonderful hikes (don't miss Spruce Knob, the highest point in WV--it's a long drive, but it's magical up there). One of the highlights of our stay was the firepit and one night the sky was clear. There were SO many stars! Thank you for a fantastic family vacation. Danita is a welcoming host, and we will definitely be back.
