Lovely place, it was so homely like a home away home. Good location and near a lot of the walks we wanted to do. The place was very clean and tidy and loved sitting out on the decking in the morning which was next to a flowing river Kate was very friendly and helpful, she gave clear instructions how to get there and met us on our arrival I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to my friends

This is a fantastic property in a great location. Kate was a perfect host. There if we wanted her but also respected our privacy. My only concern when booking the Old Stables was around privacy as we could see Kates adjacent property but I needn’t have worried as the end of their property nearest the Stables is used mainly for storage and we felt totally private. There were many thoughtful touches around the house including towels and bowls etc for our dog. It is well furnished with excellent bedding. The conservatory which is the lounge be has a fabulous wrap round decking right by the side of and above the river. Smashing spot to eat by. Lots of fantastic walks right out of the door. Access to 2 paddocks for the dog. A number of really good pub restaurants within a short distance. It is situated in a most lovely part of the country which we have probably neglected. I would not hesitate to recommend Kates place. Oh and lovely home made chutneys and James available from nearby.

Thoroughly enjoyed our time at The Old Stable, very friendly hosts and great instructions on finding the place. Perfect positioning for getting out on the bikes and for seeing friends living nearby. Lovely accommodation for relaxing in the evening. Would love to go back in summer when the children could make the most of the stream behind.

Kate, thank you so much for letting us stay at your gorgeous Air BnB. We were looking for a relaxing place to stay and that is definitely what we got. We loved hanging out in the conservatory in the evenings and it was in a great place for walks! Kate, you were so responsive and took on our comments during the visit. Thank you again!

lovely stay at Katies place . i went with my 2 daughters 7 and 12 years old . we explored what we planned to . lovely pubs walking distance. we all loved peak district experience. thank you x
