A beautiful well taken care of home with an exceptional view. My family felt right at home and was able to relax after hiking in Palo Duro Canyon State Park. The back porch area was great for sitting out and enjoying the sunrise and the canyon view and then watching the stars at night.

Perfect for a reunion of my husband's long-in-the-tooth classmates. They especially liked the fire pit as an evening gathering place to recount the events of the day and to remember the events and classmates of their past. The hot tub helped ease the ache of sore hiking muscles. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was nicely appointed. The pool table, yoga room and skee ball game were fun touches. Although all hiking trails at Palo Duro Canyon State Park were closed during much of their stay , they still were able to enjoy the view of a portion of the canyon from the house and were allowed to drive through the park in their mini-van. Also, they were able to hike at Caprock Canyon State Park even after state park personnel had closed all Palo Duro trails due to rain. The nearby Sad Monkey Mercantile was a good place to enoy a healthy selection of draft beers and sandwiches and to pick up some rudimentary groceries such as eggs and sausage.

The house was spacious, clean, and the kitchen was well equipped. We really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful home and peaceful location. Very spacious and clean. Great place to relax and enjoy the majestic views of the canyon. We definitely would return.

Secluded but right next to the Canyon and all it has to offer. The home is awesome - very spacious and homely. We will return. 5 stars :)
