Short and sharp check in and the host generally had no time for me. I asked about bike rentals and it turned out he had bikes to borrow (not sure he would have told me otherwise). The one I was given however was in a pretty sorry state and for fear of breaking the stand which was stiff and rusty I asked him for help. He appeared to think I was stupid, bashed it and quickly walked away. The flat didn't have a stove, but more critically, not even a kettle. There wasn't even a bottle of water in the fridge which I have just come to expect. The location was a bit noisy with the road and had a kind of miserable vibe. After two out of my four nights I cut my losses and stayed in Kos Town and the experience was like night and day in respect to hospitality and facilities (at the same price). I've never left a bad review on Airbnb before as I generally just need a really basic base, but this nearly derailed my trip. I rarely travel solo and hospitality becomes more important when alone.

We really enjoyed our stay. Mixalis is a extremely friendly and helpful host! I can only recommend to stay with him and enjoy a nice evening in his restaurant.

Very spacious, lovely bright & clean apartment surrounded by stunning countryside & mountain / sea views. Incredibly peaceful & highly recommended 💙

We had a lovely time at the apartment. It was clean, comfy and spacious. The location is great, just 15 minutes from the beach. There are a lot of ice restaurants and a big supermarket just around the corner. We also loved the view from the balcony, especially during sunset. Unfortunately we couldn’t use the bikes because some other guests lost the key. However Mixalis offered to fix it the next day, but we were already leaving then. We would absolutely book the apartment again and thank Mixalis again for the nice stay!
