The Ford Tavern is located centrally in Bonavista. It is close to the water and the time of year made it rather windy (late September). However, Bonavista is a beautiful spot and full of history. The house is very close to the street so traffic, at times, was a bit busy. The history of the house is interesting and its been updated tastefully. We felt very comfortable there. The fresh bread waiting for us was a very nice touch.

Lovely home in a good location. Very clean with comfortable beds. Very well located to all the main Bonavista attractions.

The Ford Tavern house was a great location to explore Bonavista from. The modern kitchen and bathroom downstairs were fabulous and well integrated with the old parts of the house. Excellent location to walk to sites and visit local restaurants. Neat artist studio/gallery next door in a modern take on the vernacular architecture.

beautiful home with ocean view. A very comfortable stay for 3 couples. There is no living room but there is a large dining room with table to gather. True to description and in walking distance to shops and restaurants and the Garrick Theatre. Very enjoyable stay and great hosts.

Nous avons été ravis dès notre entrée dans la maison. Tout était impeccable et très bien aménagé . Nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous. En prime …la possibilité de voir un coucher de soleil magnifique en faisant quelques pas dans la cour arrière. Nous y retournerions assurément! Merci de votre professionnalisme!
