I have been coming to Maggie Valley for 15 years and staying at rental properties such as this. This is my first foray into staying at lake Juanalooska and I could not be more happy. Rebecca, the host, was the most proactive and friendly host we have ever dealt with. It is so rare to get a rental property with three bathrooms, and for our five total guests, including myself, this cannot have been a better situation. It truly felt right at home. Zero complaints.

Rebecca is a good host. She communicates very well and shows interest in you having a good experience . This home is spacious, quaint, and clean!-We enjoyed everything about our stay. The lake is very close. There are so many restaurants within a 10-15 minute range of the place. We would do this again!

What a lovely place! We stayed for 3D/2N for a ladies conference. All rooms have their own bathroom with soaps, body wash, shampoos, and towels! Didn’t expect that but surely appreciated it. Kitchen was equipped with everything we need to cook and dine. The balcony has a fire pit to use, unfortunately we were not able to do s’mores due to the weather. Quiet neighborhood. Definitely felt a staycation for us. Check in and out was super easy. Rebecca was very responsive with all my questions. Overall, great stay! Will come book again and whenever we’re back in town.

Overall, this was a nice place to stay! Rebecca reached out prior to arrival to ensure that we had everything we needed and were able to get into the residence. The location is really convenient to attend events at Lake Junaluska and we enjoyed walking around the lake. Parking is pretty tight; it isn't clear in the listing but 2 of the 3 parking spots are the gravel shown in the picture of the front door. During the summer, this might be an issue if you have larger vehicles. The stove in the residence is a 1950s GE unit with push buttons to control the burners at waist level and wasn't really safe for my 6-month-old; we had to move the bench at the table to ensure she did not touch the buttons while she was using her walker. Finally, it seems like the residence is not being used regularly currently as there was mildew in small upstairs bathroom and overall dusty. Overall, this was an acceptable place to stay but it would benefit from a deep clean and a few updates/repairs.
