The Shed is a great family getaway two hours from Sydney. It was very spacious for our family of five (plus two dogs). Very clean and well appointed. Location is very peaceful, kids loved the pool table, we loved the sun drenched deck, the two wood fires, great fire pit, pizza oven and the stars! There is a large yard but fences aren’t fully dog proof so your dogs will wander into adjoining paddocks. PS: To get there make sure you turn left off Parsons Lane on to Ryhanna Road and not right as per google maps!

A perfect quiet family getaway (adults, 3 young kids and dog) for a long weekend. Pizza oven and fire pit provide good additions. Highly recommend visiting the nearby town of Taralga to get your fix of farm animals at the Taralga Wildlife Park, amazing country pub meal at the Argyle Inn, and Grand Ettie cafe for excellent coffee and baked goods. Had hoped for more sighting/access to farm animals (chicken coop was void of chooks, cows in distant paddocks), so I recommend choosing elsewhere if you are after a true 'farm stay'. Having said that, the Taralga Wildlife Park 30kms north was perfect for our kids. This place is obviously perfect for housing additional wedding/event guests at the beautiful Rhyanna Park 9 bedroom house next door. No complaints from us. Thank you to our host , Rosey.

What an absolute serene environment. This was a remarkable weekend spent in a truly relaxing environment, upon entering the gate you’re immediately stunned by the stunning landscape; the rolling green hills and wildlife provide an incredibly wonderful addition. The stay itself was cosy, inviting and remarkably well maintained, especially considering it is a working farm! It was clean, homely and ready for guests - the firewood fully stocked, including the outdoor fire pit ready to go, and the wood fired pizza oven. When we arrived, there were a number of cows (and calves) in the surrounding paddocks, which was just an absolute joy to get to watch, especially just sitting outside enjoying the ambience. The stay is well stocked for a nice cosy evening by the fire, with a pool table / air hockey table, we didn’t even turn the tv on, nor even noted the lack of reception. By far one of the most relaxing weekends you could possibly enjoy. (Make sure you visit Taralga while there!).

Absolutely loved our recent stay at The Shed. Such a gorgeous farm house with no one else in sight. The pool table, fire pit, games, pizza oven etc were all a hit! I wish we had booked more than 2 nights. Look forward to visiting again. Went in to Taralga Wildlife park where we got to hold a wombat, highly recommend!

We had a great stay here perfect isolation. Private and picturesque.
