Great place to rest and relax. The kitchen was well stocked and there was ample room and space for our family to be with, or not be with, eachother. The host was very kind and easy to communicate with. Beautiful views that went so nicely with my morning coffee :)

We booked this spot specifically for its proximity to the hiking trails we were interested in exploring. We were also drawn to the peaceful surroundings and view. Upon arrival, we immediately felt at home and relaxed. The sense of peace upon the property is tangible. Wifi was fast & reliable, showers were hot, the kitchen was well-equipped, and we helped ourselves to the bookshelf and board games. Our interactions with the host were wonderful, and they were so helpful and gracious. We loved every minute of our time here and would definitely return for another stay at A Whale Crossing.

If you like whales, dogs, the ocean, and history this is 11/10 the place for you. The host was very responsive and attentive though also gave us our privacy. Because we love dogs we made sure to make friends with Jazzy and Coconut. I saw more whales in Hawi than I have ever seen in my life and I’m so grateful to Martin and Linda for sharing their special property with us. 🐋 🌊
