I absolutely loved the houseboat! Perfect for a solo traveller, it was a perfect little home away from home. Otto is very kind and although our schedules did not align, he checked in with me everyday to see if I was free for a boat ride! He also made sure I had everything I needed and I felt very comfortable going to him if I had any questions. Everything is very clean and tidy. The canal is quiet and very walkable. I cannot wait to stay here again!

The houseboat stay was a dream! The perfect cozy abode for one. I loved waking up to the birdsong and gentle noises of the canal. The location is great, next to plenty of cafes and restaurants but private enough that you feel you are out of the busy-ness. Otto was extremely pro-active and checked in to see if everything was ok with my arrival. He mentioned a former complaint about lighting and power not working, and came to check in on it. But all was working just fine. No issues! Looking forward to another stay some day!

Host is impossible to contact. We had to climb onto the boat from the back to find out where the keys were as he wasn’t answering the phone and turns out this happens to him all the time. The toilet seat is broken. He doesn’t respond to any calls or texts. Not even when we asked how to turn the heating or power on. The place is also much smaller than it appears in the pictures.

Lovely houseboat on a quiet canal! Was really nice to sit and have coffee and look out at the canal each morning. Cozy and small room, so be comfy with your guest! :)
