Place was impeccably clean and welcoming. Lots of conveniences like kitchen/personal supplies. Decor as attractive and just what you want for a winter get away. Beautiful large sectional sofa and comfortable bed. The outside porches were great along with the fire pit. Indoor fireplace worked perfectly and kept us cozy the entire time. Restaurant at the bottom of hill was convenient and you were close to the forest for a quiet off season stay. Our GPS was a little off and Nancy was easy to find with help finding the cabin. Excellent host!

It was a cute cabin. I communicated with her before hand that I was having surgery in PA ( I live in Michigan) I rented it for 9 days to go rest and relax. I couldn’t rest. The TV couldn’t be on because they had streaming services that wouldn’t work because of the instability of WiFi . So I tried to lay peacefully on the couch but I only heard squirrels and chipmunks in the attic/rafters whatever but it was so loud that I finally messaged her again and she told me that nobody had ever mentioned that to her. I sat day in and day out without tv or phone services. She does have WiFi as an amenity but continue reading everything and she does state it’s not stable. I don’t expect someone to list it and then post it’s not stable. That’s odd to me. The bathroom was not clean once we arrived. I was fine when I arrived so I cleaned it myself and then the cobwebs were awful. We were there for the 9 days and had to keep all of our trash in the dining room until we left. Wonderful, peaceful retreat - exactly what we were looking for. Cabin is beautifully decorated and loved the wood burning fireplace. Spent the weekend curled up and warm admiring the surrounding view and wildlife. Host was very responsive and accomadating. Location was perfect. Will definitely return!
